Southern Arizona Laborists has cared for women in Nogales since 2021 through its partnership with Mariposa Community Health Center, the area’s Federally Qualified Health Center. This is a close-knit community, and when a mother arrives at Holy Cross Hospital, she deserves a care team that understands that. As a critical access hospital, the stakes of that trust are even higher, making every resource more deliberate and every specialist more essential.

When Southern Arizona Laborists joined Yavapai Regional Medical Center in 2025, it was to strengthen their commitment to women. Local specialists could focus on the continuity of care their patients depend on while Southern Arizona Laborists ensures a board-certified specialist is on-site around the clock. Nearly 1,000 mothers deliver at Yavapai Regional every year. They deserve both.

Onvida Health is independently owned and dedicated to the health of its community. With close to 4,000 deliveries a year, it is one of the busiest OBGYN services in the region. In 2026, Southern Arizona Laborists formed a strategic partnership with Onvida Health Medical Group. This is our newest partnership, and one rooted in a shared conviction that the women they serve deserve the very best care.
Patients
Multiple specialists are on shift at Onvida Health at all times. You’ll have an OB physician, a GYN specialist and a midwife. If one is called into an emergency, another is ready within moments, because when you are in our care, someone is always there for you.
