Southern Arizona Laborists is staffed exclusively by board certified OBGYNs. We are able to provide services to obstetrical patients in all stages of pregnancy as well as gynecologic problems.
We Provide an Extra Layer of Support for You and Your Doctor
We do not replace the care of your regular doctor or OBGYN. Our physicians work closely with your provider to provide emergency services and ensure your experience is professional, compassionate and reliable.

Expert Care When You Need It Most
Timing is everything, especially for women who juggle multiple responsibilities of managing a career and a family. Emergencies can happen at any hour, especially outside of office hours and on nights and weekends. When an unexpected gynecological or pregnancy-related health concern arises, women need prompt care delivered from a specialist. By concentrating solely on women’s health issues, we are able to provide critical on-demand care for patients with emergency OBGYN conditions.
If a woman is experiencing a gynecological irregularity or an expectant mom has a concern related to her pregnancy, the physicians on Southern Arizona Laborists team have the expertise to quickly arrive at a diagnosis. This reduces time spent on unnecessary testing and lessens the anxiety that comes from the unknown. If an ultrasound is needed, the test can be performed and a physician can share the results with a patient at her bedside in real time. In addition, our physicians are on campus to evaluate and manage high-risk, complicated pregnancies. Our physicians support and coordinate care for those pregnancies requiring Perinatology consultation or Neonatology services.

Whether expecting for the first time, or in the first trimester of a third pregnancy, moms-to-be can experience worrisome symptoms that require urgent attention. Southern Arizona Laborists’ caring team of physicians understand the anxiety that comes with a woman not knowing if her baby is okay. That’s why each member of the team is specifically trained to identify, assess and treat a variety of conditions ranging from high blood pressure to spotting to the need for emergency procedures. We know that when a mom-to-be is in distress, the sound of her baby’s heartbeat soothes her like nothing else. Having access to a bedside ultrasound administered and read by a physician in real time can be source of immediate comfort to a worried parent.

In the event that that the unexpected happens, you can count on the expertise of our team to care for you and your baby. Our experienced OBGYNs are onsite 24 hours a day to provide you and your baby with the very best medical care.
